What you do need to know is the rafsi forms: CCV, CVC(y), CVV(r), CCVCy, CVCCy, CCVCV, CVCCV, and how to combine them to form lujvo. But you don't need to identify each actual rafsi in order to recognize whether a form is a brivla or not. mu'o mi'e xorxes
