I'd like to see people bring recording devices and laptops and such for the express purpose of blogging mercilessly about how much fun we're having and shaming everyone who doesn't show up. :D > Currently the highlights are a panel discussion about Lojban, and > an hour during which only Lojban may be spoken in that room. Oh dear. I'm so desperately out of practice. 0.o > After a certain time of the evening, there will be no more > sessions in that room, and it will be available exclusively for > Lojbanists. \o/ > I have been offered a complete audiovisual recording kit, > including camera, microphones, sound mixer, a Twinpact for > recording from a laptop screen, and a digital capture laptop > running Debian with software for switching between feeds during > recording. \o/ > What about more? Can someone make a set of la cibyska cards? I don't know how to do that at all. I myself much prefer something like http://www.lojban.org/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=Lingo&bl=y and/or http://www.lojban.org/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=Zendo+In+Lojban&bl=y I'll master either of those as much as people want. > Does someone have a Nanofictionary set they can bring? I think that the primary Lojbanist location *should* be some kind of promotional booth, if noise levels (noise we'd make) would be OK. We can adjourn to the room you have so graciously provided us in the evening. I think a bunch of people actually sitting around and playing games with/in the language is the best promotion there is. I can bring What Is Lojban? copies and buttons, as usual. I have no skill whatsoever with things like banners, though. > At the last Lojban Festival, there was a mural of signatures and > Lojbanic writing which is on a paper roll-- is someone bringing > that? Oof. Not much time for that. You mean http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Call_of_Cthulhu_(film) , yes? I could try, if someone gives me a transcript. > Is there anything I can do for you as Conchair of Penguicon? I'm > incredibly busy, but I can try. Nothing you haven't already done comes to mind; you're being totally awesome as it is. -Robin -- They say: "The first AIs will be built by the military as weapons."
