Which doesn't seem to make sense since zmadu doesn't have an x5. This happens because when using a selma'o FA every place that comes after that is incrimenting from the last FA that you used eg. "da klama fi de di do" has the meaning "da(x1) comes/goes from origin de(x3) via route do(x4)" completely skipping over the x2 place. - Luke Bergen On Sat, Jun 6, 2009 at 11:27 AM, tijlan wrote: > 2009/6/6 Jorge Llamb=EDas : > > On 6/6/09, tijlan wrote: > >> I'm trying to jbosku "This is several times more difficult than that". > >> I came up with > >> > >> ti la'u li so'o nandu zmadu ta > > > > I think "se la'u", because "li so'o" is the se klani, not the klani. > > > >> ti fo li so'o nandu zmadu ta > > > > I would say the ve zmadu is the difference in difficulty between ti > > and ta, rather than the quotient. > > .ua ki'e > > >> ti me li so'o nandu zmadu ta > >> > >> I also ventured > >> > >> ti nu'a pi'i li so'o nandu semau ta > >> > >> But this one jbofi'e won't parse. when you do it like this doesn= 't this come to "ti (x1) fo li so'o (x4) nandu zmadu ta (x5)&q= uot;?=A0 Which doesn't seem to make sense since zmadu doesn't have = an x5.=A0 This happens because when using a selma'o FA every place that= comes after that is incrimenting from the last FA that you used eg. "= da klama fi de di do" has the meaning "da(x1) comes/goes from ori= gin de(x3) via route do(x4)" completely skipping over the x2 place.

I see. Upon looking up CLL Chapter 20's "li ni'umu cu nu= 'a va'a li
ma'umu", I misunderstood that the whole "va'a li ma'u= mu" was what
"nu'a" was turning into a selbri.
