Make one get two free. Yes, but speed is not the only case. We also don't have basic and neutral words for size, length, width, depth, age, strength, temperature, and so on. In fact the only exception I can think of where we do have a word for a scalar property is weight. So Having a word for "speed" would actually be another exception. mu'o mi'e xorxes
