When Pierre mentioned the nutpick, I understood him to mean a pointed= utensil for helping remove the meat from the nut, not the nutcracker, whi= ch is used to crack the shells of the nuts.  The two are often sold= together in sets.  I personally almost never use a nutpick, but nutc= rackers can be handy.
