Thanks, Greg. Your reply encouraged me to learn more lojban, and 
encouraged some interesting discussion. I will stick with "brus.", since 
this is the closest to my name. I realize that it will sound a little 
different, because in lojban the vowel sounds are pure (unlike American 
English, in which the vowels tend to "slide" in various ways).

Here's another name-related question for the group. In lojban, how are 
first and last names handled? My first name would be "brus.", and my 
full name would be "brus.uebr." Can I use either one, depending on the 
context?
