In fact, it was in anticipation of doing many things that are
reasons for living being an amount of value equivalent to the event
of working on the activity of living.

You lost me after krinu.

It kind of depends on how much you want to keep the form of the
original.  One purely Lojbanic option is:

da'i nai ko'a pu'o lifri lo xamgu
