Here, the main advantage to any programming language is that someone willing to occasionally maintain jsk likes it. Any language that discourages the few available programmers from maintaining jsk is automatically the wrong language, regardless of intrinsic merit. If you don't mind working in PHP, I'm all in favor of sticking with it. -Eppcott
