I would say "mi xrukla baza lo djedi be li pano". If you feel that that time is short or long, say "zi" or "zu" instead of "za". ("pano lo djedi" means "ten days", but doesn't imply that they're consecutive.) "nu'i" starts a termset, which is not a construct for beginners. The afterthought termset conjunction is "ce'e", as in this tonguetwister: cire cilce carce jarco ce'e reci cilce carce cu jarco .i cire cilce carce jarco cu jarco reci cilce carce, .ije'i reci cilce carce cu se jarco cire cilce carce jarco? As a termset conjunction joins terms, which may na'e sumti, you can make nonsense such as "mi fu ku ce'e na ku fe le mlatu cu viska". mu'o mi'e .pier.
