Stage 4 fu'ivla can begin with a vowel, and the vowel must be preceded by a pause, which separates it from the previous word. Thus {agbakate} is valid because a word can't begin with {gb}, {aizdo} and {io'imbe} are valid because {zdo} and {mbe} are monosyllabic, and {eskrima} is valid because {skrima} is a slinku'i. On the other hand, {ioskiamo} is invalid because {skiamo} is valid - though xorxes disagrees with me on that. Pierre
