Okay, so I'm trying it out once more...and thinking about the = sounds more than the individual letters helped me out quite a= bit, I think.

This is the beginners ma= iling list. A lot of beginners will usually
talk about letters and characters, but that is a discussion which wewill have with them in English. I don't think very many beginners are<= br>going to speak in Lojban to describe unused characters. It sounds like
a good topic to take up on the main mailing list.
