I've heard about the experimental, imperative attitudinal "dai'o". "o'idai'o" would mean "Feel caution!". Generally i would prefer the observative "karce". That way i would be able to suggest (or be suggested of, if i'm the one carelessly stepping on the pavement) the actual object of caution at which to look. That's probably more effectual and life-saving ;) than "o'i" or "o'icai", which tells about nothing other than the emotion of the onlooker. mu'o mi'e tijlan http://www.blackpool.gov.uk/EmailDisclaimer/ This message has been scanned for inappropriate or malicious content as par= t of the Council's e-mail and Internet policies. =20 Click here t= o report this email as spam. http://www.blackpool.gov.uk/EmailDisclaimer/ This message has been scanned for inappropriate or malicious content as par= t of the Council's e-mail and Internet policies. ***************************************************************************= ***See the Blackpool You Tube video aimed at attracting French visitors by = clicking this link http://www.visitblackpool.com/jetaime ******************= ************************************************************ ------_=_NextPart_001_01CA353D.D5818D48 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
From a purely practical standpoint, as opposed t= o a=20 linguistic one, surely something that could be shouted loudly and quickly,= =20 ideally a single syllable, would be preferable. {ckape} would be a good, if= =20 overly dramatic, choice.
