I think you probably want {lo sodva} since you probably mean "soda in general...." and not "some particular soda that I have in mind e.g. _this_ soda". Also, you need to put {cu} between {sodva} and {xamgu} or else it becomes "the soda type of good" (it becomes a tanru). And I'm not sure (someone else can chime in if I'm wrong), but I think you want {lo ka kanro} for "the property of health" or "healthiness". so I would say: {lo sodva cu xamgu lo gerku lo ka kanro}. 2. You would use {be ... bei ... be'o} as outlined in the CLL chapter 5 section 7: http://www.lojban.org/publications/reference_grammar/chapter5.html#s7 3/4. I think what you said there was something like "the not expert that is a translater type of request". I think you'd be better off just making the whole thing a tanru. There's no need for the relative clause stuff here. What you're trying to say is "a noob type of ( translation type of request)" which would be something like {lo to'e certu selfanva bo cpedu}. (I swapped out the {na} for {to'e} to make it a scalar contrary instead of just logical negation). On Thu, Oct 29, 2009 at 10:14 PM, Oren wrote: > how do these look? > > 1.
