Everything about the language seems very logical and well-thought-out, except that hexadecimal numbers look a bit weird. They seem to be detached from the decimal digits in a way that I can't see the benefit to. According to this part of Lojban For Beginners, http://www.tlg.uci.edu/~opoudjis/lojbanbrochure/lessons/less5days.html hexadecimal digits haven't been assigned rafsi. Is this a temporary problem, or is this what the designers intended? I want to use base sixteen eventually for most everything, because it would be so much simpler to convert to and from binary that way (I am interested in computer architecture). If anyone could explain this to me, I would be very grateful! --000e0cdf748a16cb9d047923897d Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hello, I joined the mailing list a few weeks ago, and I've been trying = to learn this awesome language as quickly as I can.
