As for your concerns about "malgli," I did _not_ mean verbatim. I have enough experience with languages besides English to know just how poorly things translate verbatim. What I'm doing is writing an English paragraph (the way I would say it in English) and then trying to convey the meaning in lojban. One of the first things I noticed was that "keep a journal" needed to be changed to something more like "write a journal" for that aspect of translation to work. What I meant by "my English expressions" was "what I am expressing in English" On Aug 9, 1:42=A0am, Lindar wrote: > > Hi all. =A0I've been looking over the reference grammar and "Lojban for= Beginners" > > I'd recommend staying away from L4B, and only reading CLL after you've > gone through the wave lesson and understand as much of that as you're > going to.
