I think you should get together with Luke, who wrote QuickDict way back in
the day, and then, much to my own disappointment, stopped working on it.

QuickDict was also intended as an alternative to GoldenDict, and it was abl=
e
to look up entries directly from jbovlaste, IIRC. If it weren't for the fac=
t
that the link to DL it appears to be broken, I'd still be using it.
