I don't really like the sound, both for malgli and nalmalgli reason= s, of {cit-} in general, though. Put differently, {citmle} doesn't soun= d like what it means.

Hmmm. =A0Your comment makes me a little n= ervous. =A0"x" has always been an annoying sound for me but I thi= nk I finally have it. =A0Based on the CLLs description and the fact that so= mewhere where it talks about lojbanizing names it suggests "x" as= a possible replacement for "h" made me feel pretty comfortable a= bout it.

But then I'll hear someone say "it's like the &= #39;ch' in the scottish 'loch'" and think "wait, I pr= onounce that like 'lock' and when I hear a scottish person say it i= t always sounds more like a 'k' to me". =A0Or for example I re= ad your message about how your "x" sometimes sounds like "k&= quot; and that makes me think even moreso "oh no.. my 'x' soun= ds more like an 'h' that's kind of flemmy or like I have a fish= bone in my throat or something.... where are these 'k's coming from= ".

Oh blech. =A0Then I listen to the audio here:=A0http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voiceless_velar_fricative=A0and read ho= w "It is not to be confused with the= =A0voiceless uvular fric= ative". =A0And I can barely hear the difference. =A0Though if I ha= d to say which one my "x" sounds more similar to it would be the = second one since it sounds more "h"y than the first one.

=
Blech. =A0Maybe later I'll record myself pronouncing it and lo jbocec= mu can give me some feedback if they have the time?
