The original font was a Mac-type (whatever they are called) that had basically just the ASCII characters. It was used in the announcement of {le renomoi nanca nusalci pe la .lojban.}, and also as the text for the captions of my stick man test video, which was on YouTube, but I've apparently deleted it since then. I also used the font for the title on the poster image for the Left 4 dead map I made a couple years ago, "Hunter Training". You can see the poster here: http://l4dmapdb.wdfiles.com/local--files/addon%3Ahunter-training/0-Hunter%20Training%20Poster.jpg In any case, my reasoning for liking this particular font is that it's readily legible- although, granted, it does take a bit of getting used to before instant recognition- while also being slightly alien, futuristic. In my view Lojban is a language which draws upon the the past of linguistics, but then forges its own new ground into the future, and in doing so hopefully avoids repeating the mistakes of linguistics past. To me, the style of Planet Sans reflects this visually, and as such is supremely fitting.
