Here's one: a week or two ago, on the way to church= ,=20 I saw a sun dog and explained to the guy I was riding with how a "parhelio"= =20 happens; he had apparently never heard this word before. (Neither had I, at= =20 least in Spanish. I've read about them in English.) I don't know what to ca= ll=20 them in Lojban. Not "solge'u"; that is malgli (or malbro - they're=20 called "kalbey hashemesh"), as it is not any kind of mammal, does not bark,= =20 is not carnivorous, etc. If you'd like to contribute words to Lojban, please sign up on the jbovlast= e=20 website.
