Is not it better to convert the name of its meaning to the name of the
lojban instead of converting the name of another language to the
lojban?

for example:
Ali means in Arabic the high, after make a cmene become "yli" but= if I
want to make cmene from the meaning become "galtus", the converti= ng
from mening more clear.

In general, people tend not to translate their names. =A0If your name is Jo= hn, you don't usually go around saying "Hi, my name is God-is-Grac= ious." =A0People named David (or Muhammad for that matter) aren't = known as "Beloved" or "Dear" in English.

Which is not to say you can't use a translation if you want to; it'= s up to you how you choose to name yourself. =A0But also be aware when you&= #39;re naming someone else.
