Here is how I would differentiate them. YMMV: A drudi is always above the se drudi. A gadri need not be above the se gadri (e.g. a bottlecap is still a gadri, even when the bottle is held upside down) A drudi may or may not be physically attached to the se drudi. A gadri when in use is attached to the se gadri (e.g. a tarp stretched over a flower patch is still a drudi) A drudi has a specific main purpose of protecting the se drudi from something (which should probably be a te drudi, but the slot doesn't exist). A gadri can serve many purposes, such as preserving something inside the se gadri or hiding the se gadri (or its contents) from observation. A drudi is normally a fixed structure relative to se drudi, which is in turn usually a fixed structure (although the drdi may be retractable or removable, and probably vehicles posses a drudi rather than a gadri, although I'm not sure. galpau might be more accurate). A gadri on the other hand is usually designed to be removed from time to time and the se gadri is very possibly portable. --gejyspa On Sat, Feb 11, 2012 at 12:14 PM, Robin Lee Powell < rlpowell@digitalkingdom.org> wrote: > > x1 is a cover/[lid/top] for covering/concealing/sheltering x2. > > x1 is a roof/top/ceiling/lid of x2. x1 is a roof/top/ceiling/lid of x2. "a drudi is (designed to be)

drudi"

So one's a lid or a cover that shelters things, and the other's a lid or a roof that shelters things? =A00.o

Are these straight-up synonyms or what?
