If their vocal tract has not yet descended and they're making sounds that o=
nly=20
babies can, that's cooing, or nu cmoni. If their vocal tract has descended =
and=20
they're making consonants and vowels but not meaningful words, that's=20
babbling, or nu norbacru. I think there should be a more specific word for=
=20
babies cooing, though.
