Firefox users, today's your lucky day. I= think I've heard people ask for a browser popup extension before... So= I made one. It's called Lojban Popup:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lojban-p= opup/

(Just published, so it's not in the search results yet= .)

It's based on the code for Mandarin Popup, my favorite popup add-on= for Firefox, and has more or less the same functionality. When you hover o= ver text, it pulls up possible matches from a JSON-ized local copy of jbovl= aste. It ignores spaces, dots, commas, and punctuation in order to maximize= useful matches (ignoring spaces isn't ideal, but better to catch extra= s than to miss something).

The popups match on words (gismu, cmavo, cmene, lujvo, fu'ivla, etc= .) or rafsi.

You can right click and bring up a dictionary browser b= y which you can search the local dictionary by word, rafsi, or selma'o = (search in all caps to match selma'o; otherwise, the search is case-ins= ensitive).

The local dictionary is up to date as of May 24, 2012. My main concern = in terms of upkeep (other than serious bug fixes) is updating the dictionar= y file, since I had to do a lot of tweaking to set it up. (In other words, = grumble grumble don't ask for frequent updates :)

Take it for a spin, let me know if there are serious problems, and TRY = not to become overdependent and get tunnel vision :)=
