Actually IIRC the preferred term when discussing them in Lojban is seljvajvo, because they're bound by rules rather than being rules. But<= br> "dikyjvo" is the traditional name because it was coined first eve= n

Past experi= ence has shown me that we Lojbanists care much more about correctness than = tradition. Also, jvajvo is a lujvo meaning {javni lo lujvo}. lujvo can not = be se javni.
