Yes, there could be incremental improvements, but you'd end up with somethi=
ng looking nothing like its evolutionary ancestor. And really it would be f=
ar easier to start from scratch than to try to get by incremental steps to =
a solution that is hard enough to attain even if you were to start from scr=
atch.

I should clarify, that I'm not just thinking about how to make typical Lojb=
an sentences conciser. Rather, I'm imagining a system in which there is no =
concision gain in filling a place with zo'e than with something explicit an=
d not relying on glorking. Ideally, a system where the co-filled status of =
a group of co-filled argument places is shown by a more economical method t=
han simply sticking the same variable in each place overtly.
