[...] > 22 EL (out of) Yes, the Esperanto preposition "el" has a much wider meaning than the spatial "out of", it is also used for a more abstract or general origin or provenance: "li estas el Francio" (he's from France), "krono el floroj" (a crown of flowers), "unu el ili" (one of them).
