I found this project (http://roila.org/) kind of interesting as its goals= =20 seem to overlap somewhat with one of the (historical?) goals of our=20 language (ie man-machine communication=97I don=92t get what it is really ab= out,=20 but apparently the guy can voice-navigate his Lego NXT, which may be=20 scientificly pointless but is cool anyway). Also, Loglan is=20 mentioned/commented on in the paper:=20 http://www.bartneck.de/publications/2011/robotInteractionLanguage/OmarMubin= -ROILA.pdf I did not read the computery stuff, but the language design itself seems = =85=20 odd at least. The relevant chapter in the thesis contains surprising design= =20 decisions and apparent non-sequiturs. Just look at the resulting phoneme on= =20 p. 23. I may judge the project unfairly, though. As I said, I didn=92t read= =20 it throrougly. Anyway, maybe it is of interest to the Lojban community.
