In all the languages I know, some names are formed in the language or some= =20 ancestor thereof, and others are borrowed. For instance: "William" is common Germanic; "David" is borrowed from Hebrew. "Graciano" was apparently formed in Latin; "Misael" is from Hebrew. "=D0=92=D0=BB=D0=B0=D0=B4=D0=B8=D0=BC=D0=B8=D1=80" was formed in Slavic; "= =D0=9F=D0=B0=D1=84=D0=BD=D1=83=D1=82=D0=B8=D0=B9" is from Coptic. Some name-meanings occur in multiple languages: Theodore, Dorothy, Bogdan, Godiva: I suggest cevdud. Victor and Nikita: jing. Back when, I suggested that each person have two family names, one passed f= rom=20 mother to daughter and one passed from father to son. (This is different fr= om=20 the Hispanic system, in which the name a mother passes on is the one she=20 inherited from her father.) So my maternal family name is the same as my=20 grandmother's, who was born on a boat, but I can't pass it on; my niece=20 Barbara and my second niece (?) Samiya can. Some ideas for fu'icme: stefan., iorg., timotios., karolinas., damaris., sofias., adam., ca'ul.,=20 ixeskel., deborat., xavat., mariam., vilym., elfrik., xenrix., vigdis.,=20 xedyr., e'elred. Some others: tsaxac., finvlip., bakygid., mlerul., camrok., pudypam. mu'omi'e .pier.blojben.ab=C3=A1t. --=20 La sal en el mar es m=C3=A1s que en la sangre.
