Actually, that is the 25th anniversary of the public announcement that= =20
we made at the Evecon science fiction convention, when it was still=20
called Loglan 88. =A0We started word-making the previous June (I'd = have to=20
look up the exact date), and we renamed the language "Lojban - A= =20
Realization of Loglan" in summer 1988 at LogFest.

But I think the Jan 1988 date is as good a date as any to serve for=20
anniversary purposes.

The only thing I can think of would be an extra LogFest focused=20
specifically on the celebration, perhaps here in Fairfax (LogFest hasn&= #39;t=20
been here for a decade or so), but I don't know if there is enough= =20
interest (or whether Nora and I have the energy to plan things like we= =20
used to). =A0 I guess someone could invent a 25th anniversary T shirt= =20
using Cafe Press or something similar.
