I can't find such a word in English ("ventr= al side of body" doesn't count).

The ventral side is the opposite of the back side: th= e stomache, chest. In fact, ventral comes from the Latin word for "bel= ly".

But we alre= ady have {betfu} for that with a different meaning, arent we?
