If they've done it well, then others are likely to use their coinings rather than making their own coinage. Words are added to English and other natural languages *naturally*, merely by people coining them, whether systematically or arbitrarily. It works. If Lojban aspires to be a natural language (or to emulate one) it will have to accept the processes that act upon natural languages. Indeed it is impossible to prevent those processes.
