I did sort of like the colors, as they follow a similar regularity to a
numerical system without the associated blandness. However most/all of the
people I spoke to on IRC disagreed. I told them to weigh in here, so I'll
wait for their responses. If they don't in a day or two, I'll fall back to
using color systems. But what about months?

The thing is, it's less important what is more exciting, but what's more
intuitive, and more directly what's most common in Lojban. I could make a
@skari sublocale if desired, using more standard Lojbanic months for the
root locale.
