    Yes, but it's produced by most toddlers as /d/.  /j/ is a late
articulation, not usually until age 5, likewise proper pronunciations of,
/sh/, /ch/, /ng/, /s/, and /z/, so I really wouldn't worry about jbocifnu.
 They're perfectly normal in this regard.

               --gejyspa (did I mention that my wife, besides having a
masters in special education of mutiply handicapped/hearing impaired, did
her undergrad work in speech language pathology?)
