I got the unicode for the names of languages on the registration page of=20
the jboselkei test site working. However, I still can't post with Chinese=
=20
or Arabic characters. On my local computer, I had PHP echo the post after=
=20
submission and it printed Chinese characters, as expected, but it displays=
=20
random looking characters (like =C3=A4=C2=BA=C2=BA=C3=A5=E2=80=A6=C2=BC=C3=
=A9=C2=A2=E2=80=A0=C3=A8=C2=A1=E2=80=9D=C3=A7=C2=BC=E2=80=93) when I view m=
y posts, so I=20
think this is a MySQL issue and not a PHP issue. I tried "ALTER TABLE posts=
=20
CONVERT TO CHARACTER SET utf8mb4 COLLATE utf8mb4_bin;" in the MySQL prompt=
=20
as well as "mysql_set_charset("utf8");" in the source code and neither=20
solution worked. Does anyone know how to get MySQL to store non-unicode=20
characters?
