Yeah, the question didn=92t ask that. My fault.

I think you make a very good point here.
But I woudn=92t dismiss flashcard learning. In the beginning, one knows 0
gismu and reading texts simply doesn=92t work at this point. To be
able to read anything at all, one has to know some base vocabulary.
But after one has built a basic vocabulary, I have to agree with you.
