More fundamentally, why would the presence of {lanli} alone be sufficient to put Science apart from other forms of knowledge? The circumscription of what is Science is open to philosophical debate, and what we call Science depends mostly on a historical tradition and established culture. My suggestion is to use a fu'ivla based on "scientia" from Latin, which unquestionably has a major role in the written tradition that shaped our modern concept of Science. That way we would be safer from accusations of epistemological bias. What do you think? mu'o mi'e .asiz. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "lojban" group. I am pretty sure that the scientific method should be primarily a saske3.

More fundamentally, why would the presence of {lanli} alone be sufficient to put Science apart from other forms of knowledge? The circumscription of what is Science is open to philosophical debate, and what we call Science depends mostly on a historical tradition and established culture.
