Firstly, the extra dot is valid Official Lojban, so there is really no argument in this particular case. Secondly, marking every deviation from the official language "disputed" will lead to a proliferation of such tags in the Lojban Tatoeba corpus, and that is a terrible promotion of the language. I think it is better to just add a new translation under the convention you prefer, and possibly comment it. mu'o mi'e .asiz.
