coi ro do,

Is { broda ri'u vi ko'a } equivalent to { broda ri'u zo'e vi ko'a } or
to { broda ri'u ko'a vi ko'a }?
In other words, is {ri'u vi} --and {pu zi} and the similar tag compounds
for that matter-- considered semantically as a single tag (whose argument
is shared by the two tag members), or as two standalone tags?
If I understand right, the object of "ri'u" is the place to whose right
something happens, whereas the object of "vi" is the distance (which is
short), so "ri'u ko'a vi ko'a" wouldn't make sense. But the two phrases
combine to mean "a short distance on the right", not "somewhere on the right,
then a short distance".

I'm about to check out of the inn, so I don't have time to look it up.

In Jbovlaste and the ma'oste, {vi} is described as follow:
• « location tense distance: here at ... ; at or a very short/tiny distance from ... »

As I understand it, {vi} is a tag based on {sepli}; its argument is a sepli2, and not a sepli3.
Otherwise, {vi lo cmalu} would be somewhat redundant, don't you think so? :)
