IRC is active but only in certain hours. This is the nature of IRC as a
real time tool without built in logging of messages.

In some days IRC can be inactive at all but in some days I have to spend an
hour to read and analyse what was discussed.

Anyway you could ask Robin or someone else to give you an opportunity to
read backlogs of #lojban channel.
