I would go with =E2=80=9Csalkajytci=E2=80=9D and let that be defined as a m=
echanical slide computing tool.

Why do you need to specify that it uses logarithmic scales? Are there non-l=
ogarithmic slide rules? Or rather, is it so necessary to make that distinct=
ion that a general word refering to all slide rule computers isn't acceptab=
le? I'm highly skeptical.
