Stage 3 should not be dropped. I prefer stage 4, but sometimes it's=20
impossible. For instance, there's a bovid called =D7=AA=D7=90=D7=95 in Hebr=
ew (Deut. 14:5; in=20
modern Hebrew it's a buffalo and RV agrees, but NVI and NIV say antelope). =
The=20
glottal stop doesn't count as a consonant in Lojban, so it has only one=20
consonant. A brivla must have at least two consonants. So the Lojban word i=
s a=20
type-3, {bakrto}.
