So I was thinking: P-Celtic =3D pemp (Breton) Q-Celtic =3D koik (Old Irish c=C3=B3ic) P-Italic =3D pomp (Oscan pompe) Q-Italic =3D kuink (Latin quinque). The no-CGV rule forbids "kuink", but that can be replaced with "kink" (from= =20 Proto-Romance cinque). However, that still leaves three words ending in two= =20 consonants, the second of which is not syllablic. A syllable can't end in t= wo=20 consonants unless it consists of exactly two consonants, the second of whic= h=20 is syllabic. Suggestions? What reminded me of this is a road construction sign saying "BUMP". In Wels= h=20 this is a mutated form of the word for five. :) If I see three of these sig= ns,=20 I say "bymtheg".
