Two remarks:
=E2=80=93 The use of the typewriter apostrophe: While I suppose it's intent=

with the Lojban text for historical or paedagogical reasons (what with the=

ASCII-only alphabet and all), in the English parts looks slightly out of=20
place, especially in connection with those curly quotes.=20
=E2=80=93 Section 1.1 reads <[=E2=80=A6] in the article =E2=80=9C=E2=80=9CL=
oglan=E2=80=9D=E2=80=9D, published in=20
\emph{Scientific American}, June [=E2=80=A6]>, where one would expect <[=E2=
=80=A6] in the=20
article =E2=80=9CLoglan=E2=80=9D, published in \emph{Scientific American,} =
June [=E2=80=A6]> (or,=20
