I agree and I should clarify that I mean:

4. a process be established to revise a few words (5+) every week to 100% completion of the template, with the view of geometrically progressing to more words per week as the project gains traction and helpers.

This would ensure the process is working smoothly before allowing it to scale up. We could use it as a community-building exercise.

Another idea is to focus on making the Lojban definitions "perfect" and then using machine translation to generate the other-language definitions (which could then be reviewed if desired).

If it's prescriptive then it doesn't matter if it's been followed or not, as prescriptivism allows one to say incorrect usage is indeed incorrect, whereas descriptive dictionaries don't offer that chance.
