He's right, of course. It should be much simpler.  But Lojban inherited a l=
ot from Loglan, including all the mistakes JCB made in the first few days. =
 The result has been a 60year quest to get back what was thrown away and th=
at quest has taken the form of countless incremental adjustments, rather th=
an scrapping the whole thing and starting from just before the first mistak=
es. Lojban did also jettison some things Loglan had right, but these were l=
ess significant.
