So once you've established (either via {ju'u} or context) that you are
counting in hex, 1A is {pa dau}, simply concatenating the digits as in
base 10.

Thanks,
Josh

Yes, you can change the number representation's radix punctually with {ju'u}, or use the experimental {ju'ai} for changing explicitly and globally the default radix for the following text.

{li re dau ju'u gai} means "the number represented by the digit string =C2=AB2A=C2=BB encoded in base twelve notation", thus the same n= umber as 34 expressed in base ten.
{li re vo ju'u bi} means "the number represented by the digit string =C2=AB24=C2=BB encoded in base eight notation", thus the same number as= 20 expressed in base ten.

If you use [radix]+ju'ai (e.g. {gai ju'ai} at the beginning of your text to set explicitly the default radix to twelve for the whole following text), you won't have to add {ju'u gai} after your number expressions to explicit they're in base twelve notation, as {ju'ai} would have make it the default interpretation already.
