Dear lojban-list ,

We are happy to inform you that Avital Oliver (e-mail: olivera@macs.biu.ac.il) has joined the free Huminity network, and has included your name as one of his/her contacts and friends.

For downloading the software or learning more about the Huminity initiative: www.huminity.com

Huminity is a free software that enables people to share, create and navigate a global map of connections. The contacts, are visible only by their name, while their e-mail remains undisclosed.

The possibilities of using such a global map of connections are endless. For example:
  • You may want to find a path to someone that you are about to meet, and discover that that person is a friend of your friend, or a friend of a friend of a friend and so on. You may be surprised how small this world is.

  • If you want to find people with similar interest as yourself, you can most probably find them in Huminity, and find the path of acquaintances to them.

  • If you are looking for a job or a date you can navigate the contact maps of your friends, and their friends in search for a good match. Did you know that more than 50% of job offers are reached through friends?

  • You can chat, switch between skins, find someone nearby with the same interests, and much more:

And it's free.

At the end of the day, the inclusion on the Huminity global map of connections is voluntary and for the benefit and use of everyone. After all, it's free. However, although only your name appears on the map, you may for whatever reason ask to be taken-off from it. This can be done by asking your friend that has added you to do that, or simply by replying this e-mail with the word remove in the subject line.
