The UCLA campus egress router reported "host unreachable": PING 80.67.173.18 (80.67.173.18) from 128.97.4.125 : 56(84) bytes of data. >From 169.232.35.11: icmp_seq=2 Destination Host Unreachable etc. USA national nets, as well as a number of French and other European sites, were handling traffic normally as seen from UCLA. At 09:40 -0700, the domain was reported to "be working", and I found 80.67.*.* addresses to be back on the net. Just letting you know where and when the service outage was noticed -- I'm sure you're aware that it happened. ( is the administrator for that domain.) James F.
