The tanru that I am using for a game is {tolvajni terjivna}, which works just fine until I want to talk about someone who plays the game. The best I could come up with was {te ke tolvajni terjivna ke'e}, which seems more complex than necessary. What I really want is for {tolvajni} to modify the x3 place of {jivna} without moving the places around, but I couldn't figure out how to do that. Also, I would appreciate any comments on my translation of the first sentence. The rules start with a brief paragraph describing the game. Their first sentence is "The idea of the game is to buy and rent or sell properties so profitably that one becomes the wealthiest player and eventual winner." My translation of this sentence is {ko'a goi le te ke tolvajni terjivna ke'e cu troci leka ricfu kei lenu tervecnu gi'a jbera gi'a vecnu vau le se ponse kei}. While this does not convey everything in the original sentence, I believe it effectively serves the same purpose. .eric. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? SBC Yahoo!
