You must have some reason for joining the project, and that motivation may be part of a deeper outlook on life. Since one of lojban's main goals is to improve thought, I assume most lojbanists value innovation and intelligence. Lojbanists are frequently correlated with sci-fi buffs and computer nerds, and although this is most likely stereotypical, it does indicate that some of them value novelty. I am intentionally leaving this broad with hopes of narrowing it down through your replies. What, besides tongue, do lojbanists have in common? To kick it off, what do you think about transhumanism? This concept is tied in with extropy and the singularity, believing that we can and should strive to become better, not just by optimizing our language but also our biology and psychology. Lojban obviously has its place in these philosophies, but do you personally apply this thinking to everything like they do? mu'o mi'e .okus.
